do we need tickets for the movies? Do we need to bring our own chairs?
Getting back to the norm and looking forward to a movie at the pool …… very disappointing. Upon entry, we were denied bringing in our own chairs. This was allowed in the past. Those pool chairs are not meant for everyone! And….people could not find seating. The pool flags were still across the pool and inhibited viewing the screen. The sound system was horrible!!! I couldn’t understand a word being said and didn’t have a clue as to what that movie was about.
I knew I was not alone ….many left early.
It is with great hope that these issues will be resolved before the next Dive-In event.
Hi Suzanne. Thank you for your feedback on yesterday’s movie event at the RHJ pool. We’ve passed it along to our Events Department so they are aware of these issues prior to the next movie event.
Wonder, Does this movies have subtitles for closed captions?
So what are we allowed to bring in? Chairs, food (picnic), beverages?
Has anything been done to prevent movie goers from bringing alcoholic beverages into the pool area for these events? The last movie I went to I noticed many people holding metal or plastic containers. A saw a man take his beer can out of a sleeve. Crush it and leave it on a table. Another party was passing around a fifth of whiskey. We keep reminding members about our guest policy, but what about some signage reminding that alcoholic beverages are prohibited. Are monitors watching, or will we wait for an under the influence accident to occur?
