Lauren Toth, Kakan, Associate Ikenobo Ikebana Professor Second Grade will present demonstration of Ikenobo Ikebana, the art of Japanese flower arranging.

Library Lecture: Lincoln & African Americans Through MLK Jr.

Nationally recognized Abraham Lincoln presenter and historian, John Voehl, will be returning to Sun City West for another lecture.

Friends of the Library

The Friends of the R.H. Johnson Library purchase all library materials and subscriptions. This not only includes all books and DVDs, but over 120 magazines, newspapers, databases, and financial reports. Friends’ funding sources include donations, bequeaths, book sales, Thursday Night Movies, and Fry’s Community Rewards Program. The Friends of the R.H. Johnson Library is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, so all donations may be tax-deductible. You can also become a Friends member for $5/calendar year.

Volunteers

The work performed at the library is accomplished by over 150 of your neighbors who volunteer in the library. Our amazing volunteers save the library over 22,000- man hours every year. If you would like to volunteer at the library print the application, fill it out, and give it to the Check Out Desk at the library. Or you can pick up an application at the Check Out Desk in the library.
