Join the Rec Centers of Sun City West this October as they host a trio of free concerts at Beardsley Park. Occuring at 7 p.m. on the first three Saturdays of October, each show promises to deliver great music that the residents of Sun City West will surely enjoy! Concessions will begin at 5 p.m. each show and will consist of hamburgers, hot dogs and brats.

The winners of KOOL FM’s 2016 Battle of the Cover Bands’,Faded Jeans is an energetic, five-piece electric party band for everybody! Since 2008, they’ve been connecting with audiences through their genre-hopping performances, keeping them dancing throughout the show and calling for more at the end of the night. The band’s song list spans Classic Rock, R&B, Pop, Oldies, Country, 70’s Funk, Rockabilly, and Blues, with each song performed true to style. From classics like Van Morrison’s “Brown Eyed Girl” to contemporary hits like Jason Mraz’s “I’m Yours”; from dance favorites like the Commodores’ “Brick House” to crowd sing-alongs like Garth Brooks’ “Friends in Low Places,” Faded Jeans has something for everyone. The band is comprised of an incredible mix of musicians from across the country, all with stellar professional experience. The Desert Knights Band is a four piece band that consists of fiddle, harmonica, lead electric guitar, bass guitar, drums and three vocalists. Doug Deatherage, also known as “The Fiddler” won the Arizona Country Music Associations National Instrumentalist of the Year in 1993 and 1994. Under the leadership of Doug Deatherage , the Desert Knights band has won Arizona country music associations vocal group of the year 1993/94 and first place at the Payson Country Music Festival in 1989. Doug Deatherage has opened up for country greats such as David Frizzell, Toby Keith, Jerry Reed, Waylon Jennings, The Dixie Chicks and has worked with Hank Thompson, a member of country music’s hall of famer.
