Come meet and talk with Local Author Barbara Renner in the library. Barbara writes children’s picture books that revolve around wildlife main characters.

Barbara Renner started writing children’s picture books when she retired from teaching. Inspired by being outdoors, the stories in her books revolve around wildlife main characters and include animal sounds and facts. Being an avid dog lover, Barbara and her husband rescued a yellow lab mix, Larry, who became the subject of a photo book filled with feel-good messages as seen through the eyes of a dog. When not walking Larry, Barbara can be found writing her newsletter & blog, traveling, reading, gardening, hiking, and occasionally attempting to play a round of golf.
