Beardsley Recreation Center will reopen to members on Monday, Sept. 21.

As with Palm Ridge and R.H. Johnson Rec Centers, which already are open, members will be asked about COVID symptoms when they arrive at the check-in desk. Temperature checks will not be conducted at any of the facilities beginning Monday.

At Beardsley, as with the other two open facilities – the pool, fitness center, locker and shower rooms will all be open.

The in-person reservations that was put in place when R.H. Johnson and Palm Ridge initially opened, will no longer be required, now that a third center is available to spread usage. Equipment reservations will return to the usual procedure – current day reservations only, either in person or by calling the center.

Kuentz Rec Center remains closed due to construction at the site as the renovation and expansion continues there.

Chartered Clubs that have dedicated space at any of the three open facilities may expand their closing time from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. (At Kuentz, only Art, Leather and Woodshop are open and affected by this change.) Those clubs that wish to enjoy the later hours must submit a CR14 form to Scheduling. The fitness clubs that meet at Palm Ridge Summit Hall will be returning with a Monday through Friday schedule. Clubs may contact Scheduling at 623-544-6032 to determine their times.

Masks continue to be required at all indoor facilities (except while swimming), and gatherings of more than 50 people are prohibited. Guests are not allowed at this time.
