Upcoming Johnson Lanes Closure

Beginning Monday, April 27, all 30 bowling lanes will be closed for the installation of new pinsetters and masking units. This closure is expected to last until early July.

During this closure time, the other amenities available in the Sports Pavilion, such as Lizard Acres Pub, Pavilion Grill, Your Strike Shop and the billiard room will remain open. Some on modified schedules. Click the button below for additional details.

About us

Located in R. H. Johnson Recreation Center, The Sports Pavilion houses a state-of-the-art 30-lane bowling center; pro shop with fully-trained staff certified by the International Bowling Pro Shop and Instructor Association; and a billiards room with 27 pool tables, a billiards table and a snooker table. The Sports Pavilion also is home to Lizard Acres Pub, a friendly local gathering place serving beer and wine, with entertainment, electronic dartboards and more.

Live Music, Karaoke, and Trivia Nights. Lizard Acres Pub is the place to be for a night of fun with the Sun City West community. The pub is located inside the Sports Pavilion at the R.H. Johnson Recreation Center.
