Happy Camp provides a variety of activities that enlighten and entertain children of all ages, giving Sun City West residents an opportunity to share with their grandchildren the fun and excitement of activities such as flight simulator, broadcasting, auto restoration, desert gardening, panning for “gold” and much more!
Craft activities included in this year’s event include artistic lettering and card design, decorative arts, sewing, beading, weaving, clay sculpting, ceramics and much more. Children can also participate in a variety of physical activities such as fitness classes, hula dancing, pickleball, softball, tennis and bocce.
Tickets are required for both free and paid activities. Members can pick up tickets in person at the R.H. Johnson Box Office. Box office hours from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The program is designed for Sun City West residents and their grandchildren only. An adult must be present for the duration of all activities with their grandchildren. Ticketed activities are for children only.

Child Guest Passes
The Rec Centers will be waiving the child’s guest pass this year for all club activities. The only exceptions involve the purchase of bowling games at the R.H. Johnson Sports Pavilion and child guest passes for access to the pool at the R.H. Johnson Recreation Center.
Individual clubs may charge an activity fee (see schedule of events below).

Root Beer Floats with Zymurgy Club
The Zymurgy Club will be serving free root beer floats at the R.H. Johnson Pool from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 18 through 20 while supplies last. Child’s guest pass must be purchased upon arrival at pool.
Bowling at R.H. Johnson
Enjoy a couple games of bowling at the R.H. Johnson Sports Pavilion. From 9 a.m to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 23 and Sunday, March 24, two games of bowling are $2 and include shoe rental.
What date can tickets/passes be picked up from the Box Office?

I wish there were some activities for little ones. Mine are 5 and 2.
Is this camp the whole month of March?
Hi June. Events for Happy Camp run from March 18 through 29.
The Desert Garden Club will be offering two sessions each week too🌵 Wednesday, 20th and the 27th.
My 7 yr old grandson will be here 1st week of April on his spring break. Any fun suggestions of what we might do would be greatly appreciated.
