About us

Located in R. H. Johnson Recreation Center, The Sports Pavilion houses a state-of-the-art 30-lane bowling center; pro shop with fully-trained staff certified by the International Bowling Pro Shop and Instructor Association; and a billiards room with 27 pool tables, a billiards table and a snooker table. The Sports Pavilion also is home to Lizard Acres Pub, a friendly local gathering place serving beer and wine, with entertainment, electronic dartboards and more.

Live Music, Karaoke, and Trivia Nights. Lizard Acres Pub is the place to be for a night of fun with the Sun City West community. The pub is located inside the Sports Pavilion at the R.H. Johnson Recreation Center.

Pete’s Cafe

Pete’s Cafe will be having a soft opening from May 3 through 5, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

They will officially open on Monday, May 6, with operating hours of 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. for the dining room. Their snack bar will be open from 8 to 9:30 p.m.
