Chat with a Local Author: Jennifer Hendricks

Come meet and talk with Local Author Jennifer Hendricks in the library. Jennifer is a USA Today bestselling author and writes clean and wholesome contemporary country Christian romances.

Date: Tuesday April 25th
Time: 10:00am- 12:00pm
Location: Main room of the library.

Jennifer, a USA Today bestselling author, began her writing career in 2016 with the pen name of J.L. Hendricks where she wrote clean Urban Fantasy and Sci-fi. In 2019, she began her Christian Romance pen name of Jenna Hendricks. Since then, she’s hit the Amazon bestseller list multiple times and currently writes Clean & Wholesome Contemporary Country Christian romances.

Her time in the Army prepared her for obtaining a BS in International Business from UNLV. Now she proudly calls herself a Runnin’ Rebel. Then after close to twenty years working for Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies as a Contracts and Procurement Manager, she began her writing career.

Now, Jennifer Hendricks brings all of her business background, writing skills, and marketing acumen to her publishing business for both pen names. Being able to travel around and learn more about the areas she writes about helps her to create even more realistic fictional universes. Well, except for maybe her Misfit Island series, she still hasn’t been to Antarctica. But maybe one day she will…

Under her Jenna Hendricks pen name, she has written about veterans who return home from war needing more help than the VA can offer in her Crooked Arrow Ranch. She has also written about the Manning family in her Triple J Ranch series. And there is always a County Christmas romance to help tie her various series together.

Later this year, she has a series set in Arizona planned. So come on down to the R. H. Johnson library to meet Jennifer and find out what she has in store for Love on The Rails.

A Broken Heart Mended

Crooked Arrow Ranch was designed to be a safe haven for the wounded when they return from war.
Sam Marley should know, he’d been there for almost two years, and he was finally beginning to feel warm and safe. But when the pretty new dog trainer shows up expecting a service dog to be the answer to his problems, more than the love of a good woman will be needed to heal his wounds. This Army Ranger is going to have to learn how to lean on God in order to move forward. But with only one good arm, will he find the strength to trust?

Nelly Wilson decided to move her business to Frenchtown, Montana. All she wanted to do was help wounded veterans heal. But what she found might just have her turning tail and running.
As Nelly and Sam work together to clean up the “dump” that her ranch is, they get closer and closer.

Who in their right minds would kill a black bear and leave its carcass inside a ranch?
But when her ex shows up offering to support her new business if she’d only come home, will she choose him over a wounded vet?

Can a curmudgeonly Army veteran with only one arm let himself be loved? Will the pretty dog trainer get past his gruff exterior? Can they both work together to get past their fears and discover a happily-ever-after?

A Broken Heart Mended is the first in a series of clean & wholesome cowboy romances starring wounded veterans who learn to trust in God and the power of true love.
