Recreation Centers of Sun City West Governing Board Directors selected Lisa Vines as their President to finish out the 2023-24 fiscal year.
Vines had been serving as Interim President after Tim Hurley stepped down from the role. That left a vacancy in the Vice Presidency, and Director Jack Leary was elected to fill the second position. Dick Rhoades remains Treasurer and Kay Williams remains Secretary.
The Board is now up to its full nine members with new Director Jolene Piaskowski being seated immediately following the March 25 election. The Board serves through June 30, after which a new fiscal year begins.
Hoping and praying all the drama is over and the board can get back to work in ensuring Sun City West remains the premier age-restricted community it is meant to be.
