Summer Community Puzzle

This year’s puzzle named “Mickey Through the Years” has 40,320 pieces. This puzzle is made of images of Mickey Mouse through the last 90 years.

The summer community puzzle’s opening day will be Friday, May 31, at 9:30 a.m. The puzzle will be available every day during the library’s normal operating hours until the project is completed.

We will have the guess the finish date contest again this year for community members to give their prediction on what day this year’s puzzle will be completed. All guesses must be turned in by Friday, June 7.

This summer will mark the 12th year of the R.H. Johnson Library’s summer community puzzle, which invites all interested Sun City West members to help assemble a giant puzzle together.

Last year’s puzzle of 54,000 pieces was started June 2 and completed by July 12 in just 27 days of the library being open. It took 80 people, 1,466 hours to complete the puzzle.

All of the Summer Community Puzzles are donated by Vivian L. Hennessey in honor of her husband, Jim.
