Update: Pete’s Cafe hours have been updated to the following. Tuesday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. for breakfast and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. for lunch and dinner. Sunday hours are 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. for breakfast and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for lunch and dinner.
Following an overwhelming response from residents and visitors during its soft opening, Pete’s Café is announcing adjusted hours of operation to allow for a smoother ramp up into the busy season.
The restaurant, which opened in the R.H. Johnson Sports Pavilion to a busy customer base, will reduce its operating hours for May as it adjusts to the unique demands of its new location.
The restaurant is closed today, Tuesday, May 7. Starting Wednesday, regular hours in May will be 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday. Additionally, the café will close on Mondays to allow for maintenance and other non-customer-facing tasks to be completed.
The menu will be simplified during this period as café staff adjusts to the new setting, large customer base and varied needs of the restaurant, which includes a service window.
Pete’s is filling the space formerly occupied by Memo’s Café inside the Sports Pavilion on the R.H. Johnson Campus, 19803 R.H. Johnson Blvd. The restaurant is open to the public.
The café specializes in a selection of Puerto Rican inspired dishes ranging from empanadas to sandwiches.
Thank you for the update!
Enjoyed breakfast this morning with the ARC group.
What happen to Memos?
They closed up. Not doing well!
Most of SCW residents are from the western part of the Us. Puerto Rican food and culture is generally an East coast thing. Let’s hope they make it thru the summer with 40% less residents here.
This info is 3 weeks out of date already.
Mr. Bagnato, this was posted May 7. We usually leave older press releases up for an extended time for those who like to look back on items.
Do you have the room to seat 20 people in a group?

Have breakfast there two days a week at Pete’s. Very pleased with their menu selection and the staff does an excellent job. Thanks for coming to Sun City West.
