Roll into the spring season with the Rec Centers’ Music on the Green series at the R.H. Johnson Great Lawn. These free shows for the spring begin on Wednesday, March 6 and feature some great musical talent! Get your lawn chairs ready and join us for some great music.
Reminder that each show is free, no tickets are required. Shows will begin at 6 p.m. Make sure to bring a lawn chair for each show.

West of the Blues
Wednesday, March 6
West of the Blues features a strong front line of entertainers including Kim Bernhardt on vocals and Eric Brown on vocals and harp. They will engage and entertain the audience with powerful vocals and harmonica licks. The “back line” features Fred Dobelbower on bass guitar. During his career, Fred has exclusively played bass guitar in house bands at the Biltmore Hotel and Wigwam Resorts for more than three decades. Also, providing unique sounds to the stage are musicians: Rudy Detgen, saxophonist; Cameron Craig and Jay Lannon on guitar; and Brian Jones on acoustic drums. West of the Blues brings together years of solid entertainment value.

The band plays rock ‘n’ roll (mostly 60s and 70s) and some country western. Their variety of style will sure get the crowd to dance! So come prepared to dance and enjoy an evening of music and all that is fun.
