Recreation Centers of Sun City West Governing Board President Tim Hurley resigned his officer position Tuesday, but will remain on the Board.
“It has been my honor to serve as your president since July 1, 2023. I feel that together, we have done good things for the Association during that time,” Hurley stated in his letter to the Board. “I will remain in my term as Director as we finish the FY24-25 Budget. I look forward to approving a new General Manager to guide the organization into the future.”
Hurley just finished a 30-day suspension and had resumed the presidency Tuesday. The Board was set to hold a public meeting Wednesday to reconsider whether Hurley would remain as president. Due to the resignation, Wednesday’s meeting is canceled.
Vice President Lisa Vines will step up again as Interim President, effective immediately.
