Recreation Centers of Sun City West Governing Board Director Harry Stannebein has resigned from the Board, effective Feb. 6.
Stannebein cited health concerns and complications from a recent surgery.
The Governing Board already has an election scheduled March 25 in which three directors will be elected. President Tim Hurley announced the top highest vote-getter from the election will be seated immediately to fulfill the remaining three months on Stannebein’s term, which runs through June 30. That candidate and the two other election winners will then begin their own three-year terms beginning July 1.
