Get ready for a spectacular day exploring the beautiful Verde Valley countryside! We will begin with a tour of the
Arizona Copper Art Museum in Clarkdale, where you will hear some of the history of the role copper played in shaping Arizona and our country. The museum has over 5000 artifacts dating back as far as the 1500s. Then we are on to
Jerome, where we will stop first at the Douglas Mansion, and you will hear about some of the colorful history that shaped Jerome back in the early 1900s when it was a mining boomtown and home to over 30 nationalities. You will have time for lunch (on your own) and to explore Jerome and its thriving artist community. Next, we will venture on to Javelina Leap Vineyards and Winery in the heart of the Verde Valley Wine Trail. They are a family-operated boutique winery with award-winning Arizona wines. Bring your friends along for a day to savor in the Verde Valley.
