- Theatre West’s “Best of Screen & Stage” (general admission tickets)
March 3, 2023 Update
Hi everyone. We have reached out to AudienceView on behalf of those residents who have let us know they’ve experienced a problem. We’ve also learned that residents who believe they are part of the breach may contact the company at email@example.com. If you believe you are part of the breach and have not been contacted, be sure to check your email junk/spam folder in case the company has reached out but the email was redirected to junk. The company is still in the process of investigating and contacting consumers.
At this moment, the Rec Centers’ ticketing website has been shut down by AudienceView, meaning no online sales will take place for our events at this time. This is a decision made by AudienceView and was out of the control of the Rec Centers. To ensure the safety of our residents while the investigation is under way, the Rec Centers will not be using AudienceView for in-person sales either.
We have adopted a temporary system for in-person sales, so residents can still purchase and pick up tickets by visiting the R.H. Johnson Recreation Center. (We do not have a timeframe for the return of online ticket sales or a return to Audienceview.)
Due to the expected increase in people visiting the Box Office for tickets, a few changes have been made to help accommodate both the staff and residents during this time:
R.H. Johnson Box Office
- Spring Vibes
- St. Patty’s Day Celebration
- Cinco de Mayo Pool Party
- Easter in the Park
- Theatre West’s “The Best of Stage & Screen” (General Admission Tickets)
- Surprise Pops Spring Show
- West Valley Wind Ensemble Concert
- *Westernaires’ “Musical Memories”
*Staff is currently working with the club on the best way to proceed with their ticket sales. Updates will be passed along to the community when available.
Because RHJ relies on outside vendor companies for ticketing… why can’t a committee review the options & pricing for developing our own computer system – independent of anyone outside SCW that can cause these types of hacks? This is the 21st century. Surely some Genius computer tech can develop a program that is suitable for our needs.
Please look into it otherwise residents will be discouraged from pursuing these wonderful shows that everyone works hard to present. Thanks for your consideration to find a viable solution! We look forward to hearing from you.
