Travel back in time to the days of drive-in movies with the Rec Centers’ showing of “The Shining,” on Monday, Oct. 14! This drive-in movie experience will take place at the north parking lot of the R.H. Johnson Recreation Center, next to Meeker Mountain.

This is a free event but a ticket is required for entry. A limited amount of tickets will be available at the R.H. Johnson Box Office beginning on Tuesday, Sept. 3. Must show your rec card.

The Movie will begin at dusk. Vehicle entry will begin at 4 p.m. Vehicles will be assigned in a row based on the size of the vehicle. Maps of entry and exit points for the event will be provided when you pick up your ticket.

Partial concessions of popcorn, soda, water and ice cream will be available for purchase. 

Please keep in mind no alcohol, as you will have your keys in the ignition during the movie.

Tuning In

You must have a vehicle with an FM radio that can tune into 90.1 FM. for this event. No speakers are being provided at this time.
