As a community service, the Recreation Centers of Sun City West is sharing the following announcement from the Sun City West Foundation about fundraising efforts being held on Nov. 8 for the Nadaburg School District.
Sun City West Foundation and Nadaburg School District have once again joined to assist the Nadaburg District in collecting Arizona State Tax Credit donations. The Foundation wishes to bring public awareness of this district’s needs and make it very simple to support with a drive-through donation opportunity!
As part of the District’s annual fundraising events, Nadaburg School District has been invited to park one of their yellow school buses in the Foundation parking lot on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon to collect donations from local residents (at the corner of RH Johnson Blvd. and Stardust Blvd).
People who invest their tax-credit dollars directly to a school are funding programs that otherwise would go unfunded. The Nadaburg Unified School District offers opportunities that other districts do not: all-day kindergarten, free after school activities, including archery, clubs, tutoring, and character development. This small school district truly relies upon the generosity of surrounding communities to make positive differences in the daily lives of its students.
The district includes Desert Oasis Elementary, Nadaburg Elementary, and Mountainside High School; all grown from the original little red schoolhouse in Wittmann.
