Located on the Kuentz Recreation Center campus, Stardust Theatre is home to many productions, concerts and special events throughout the year! From free showings of hit Hollywood movies, to concerts and theater productions, and even a weekly spotlight on musically talented residents, Stardust Theatre provides endless hours of entertainment for Sun City West.
Events and Activities at Stardust Theatre
Build-A-Play Kids Camp
During the summer, Stardust Theatre hosts a summer camp where theater students between the ages of 9 and 13 learn to bring a full theater production to life from start to finish! Mentored by volunteers from here in the community and volunteers from surrounding high school theater programs, students in this program learn the different aspects of theater production and end the program with a public performance of their production!

Movie Showings
Whether it’s a fun movie night outing with friends and family or an afternoon spent out of the house catching a classic film, the Recreation Centers of Sun City West has free matinee and evening showings of hit films for members to enjoy at Stardust Theatre!
Stardust Concert Series
Throughout the year, Stardust Theatre will host concerts and special events for community members to attend. Keep an eye out for when these special events are announced by visiting the Rec Centers’ special events page.
Talent Spotlight
A staple here at the Recreation Centers of Sun City West, the Talent Spotlight Series provides a great avenue to showcase the musical talents of those who call Sun City West home.
Free to attend, Talent Spotlight shows are held on Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to noon outside Stardust Theatre in the courtyard. During the summer months, the series is moved indoors to the air-conditioned Stardust Theatre.
