Sports Pavilion
Located in R. H. Johnson Recreation Center, The Sports Pavilion houses a state-of-the-art 30-lane bowling center, Pro Shop, Billiard Room, a multipurpose room, electronic dart boards , a shuffleboard table and Memo’s Bistro.
Pro Shop
Your Strike Shop features state-of-the-art measuring and drilling equipment with the latest technology. Fully-trained staff are certified by the International Bowling Pro Shop and Instructor Association. The staff are current on the latest products and technology and understand bowling from the bowler’s perspective.

Activities List
Bowling
Johnson Lanes is a bright, modern facility located in the heart of Sun City West. It offers 30 finely calibrated lanes, state-of-the-art pin-setting and Vector automatic scoring. It is also home to a well-stocked pro shop with everything needed for both the serious and recreational bowler. In addition to open bowling, the center is host to over 38 regular weekly leagues as well as several regional tournaments annually.
COACHING PROGRAM
Weekly Coaching lessons are available with free instruction provided by certified bowling coaches. Participants pay only for lineage fee.
Billiards
The Sports Pavilion houses a Billiard Room with 27 pool tables, 1 billiard table and a snooker table. Residents and their guests are welcome for open play. The Mis-Cues is a ladies’ chartered club that welcomes new members.
Shuffleboard
The Sports Pavilion is the home of the Shuffleboard West Club.
Open play sponsored by the club is available every Thursday from 9 AM to 4 PM.
Residents and their guests have a new shuffleboard table available for play during Sports Pavilion regular hours.
Darts
The Sports Pavilion has 2 dart boards to use during normal business hours.
