- There will be a good amount of walking, so please wear comfortable footwear and clothing.
- Both the golf course and library/agriculture club tour will require driving to different locations during the duration of the tour. Please have your own transportation available
See what SCW has to offer as facility tours return this September
New to the community and want to know everything that Sun City West has to offer? Maybe you would just like a refresher on what facilities and clubs are offered. Join Phil Dauterive this September as he will be providing tours of all four recreation centers, seven golf courses, R.H. Johnson Library and the Agriculture Club on the following dates:
- Sept. 7 and 21 – Palm Ridge Recreation. Meet in front of the pool building.
- Sept. 8 and 22 – Kuentz Recreation Center. Meet in front of Stardust Theatre.
- Sept. 9 and 23 – R.H. Johnson Recreation Center. Meet in front of Social Hall.
- *Sept. 14 – R.H. Johnson Library and Agriculture Club. Meet in front of the Library.
- *Sept. 16 – RCSCW Golf Courses Tour. Meet at the Grandview Pro Shop.
- Sept. 20 – Beardsley Recreation Center. Meet in front of Arts and Crafts building.
All tours start at 9 a.m. and last about 1 1/2 hours, with the exception of the R.H. Johnson and Golf tours. Those last about 2 1/2 hours. To join a tour, arrive at the meet up location listed with the facility above at the 9 a.m. start time. No reservations are required, just show up for the tour that interest you the most! Meet at the Grandview Pro Shop. Tour will then travel to all the other golf courses in Sun City West.
Beardsley Recreation Center Tour
Sept. 20
Tour starts at 9 a.m.
Meet in front of Arts and Crafts building
We are buying a house in SCW. Is it possible to do a walk through of the R.H. Johnson and Beardsley Rec Centers to see what they have to offer? I currently work and cannot do the 9:00am tours.
