Area residents who use the Sun City West polling location during county, state and federal elections are advised it will be in a new location for the upcoming primary. Maricopa County’s Primary Election is scheduled for July 21, with the General Election being Nov. 3.
For the Primary, the Recreation Centers of Sun City West has made the following times available at the Village Meeting Room, which is located in the R.H. Johnson Arts and Crafts Village, near the Lecture Hall, 19803 N. R.H. Johnson Blvd.
- Friday, July 10: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Saturday, July 11: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Sunday, July 12: Closed
- Monday, July 13: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Tuesday, July 14: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Wednesday, July 15: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Thursday, July 16: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Friday, July 17: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Saturday, July 18: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Sunday, July 19: Closed
- Monday, July 20: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Tuesday, July 21: 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
For the General Election, voting will move back to Social Hall East, also located at 19803 N. R.H. Johnson Blvd. The East Hall entry is from the doors closer to Fry’s. Hours for voting during the General Election will be:
- Friday, Oct. 23: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 24: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Sunday, Oct. 25: Closed
- Monday, Oct. 26: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Tuesday, Oct. 27: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Wednesday, Oct. 28: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Thursday, Oct. 29: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Friday, Oct. 30: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 31: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Sunday: Nov. 1: Closed
- Monday, Nov. 2: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Tuesday, Nov. 3: 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
As a reminder, Sun City West is a non-electioneering location. No political activity is allowed, even outside the 75-foot limit, as RCSCW’s properties are private and offered to Maricopa County as a courtesy for the elections.
