The long-awaited first draft of the Master Plan will be unveiled at the Governing Board Workshop, 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 16, in the Lecture Hall at R.H. Johnson Rec Center, 19803 N. R.H. Johnson Blvd.
Jason Genck from BerryDunn will be on hand to present the Master Plan in an organized final draft. Member questions are encouraged at this meeting. For those unable to attend, the meeting will be available on the Rec Centers’ YouTube page.
An additional presentation will also be held that same day inside the R.H. Johnson Social Hall from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
The adoption of the Master Plan will then be voted on by the Governing Board at the October Regular Meeting, 9 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, in the Lecture Hall. This meeting will also be available on the RCSCW YouTube page.
This planning effort, which kicked off with a formal community announcement on Jan. 14, will guide future decisions related to recreation facilities, programs, golf operations, wellness amenities, and long-term sustainability across the community. RCSCW hired BerryDunn to support this effort through community engagement, analysis, and development of planning recommendations.

I’m confused, you initially state it’s a first draft and then you state it’s an organized final draft. Then you state a week later the GB votes to accept the plan. There should be another meeting after the presentation of the first draft so residents have a chance to digest what’s in it before rushing to vote on it. How can people ask informed questions when they have’s seen a draft.
