Do these performances require tickets?
Hi Laura. No tickets are required for these shows. They are free for the community.
How long does Music on the Green last?
Is it the same as a “jam” session where volunteers get together to play music. We are very interested in that.
Hi Pat. Music on the Green shows last for about one hour. All performers for these shows are professional musical acts.
If you are interested in a more local show, similar to our past Jam Sessions, our Talent Spotlight sessions begin on Oct. 13. Learn more here: https://suncitywest.com/event-posts/october-talent-spotlight/
Where is the GREAT LAWN location?…
Hi Jim. The Great Lawn is located in the center of the R.H. Johnson Recreation Center, next to the Bocce courts and mini golf.
DO WE BRING LAWN CHAIRS? DRINKS?
Where do we park for November 17 concert?
Hi Toni. You’re welcome to parking anywhere in the R.H. Johnson parking lot for our Music on the Green shows. Our recommendation would be to park in front of our Member Services office as that would provide you with the easiest route to the Great Lawn.
What type of music?
Looks like weather iscoming in. Will this be moved inside?
Hi Michelle. As of right now, we haven’t gotten word from our Events Department about making changes to the Music on the Green show. If there are any changes, we’ll announce them on our social media pages.
Hi Michelle. Just wanted to pass along that our Events Department will be moving tonight’s show to the R.H. Johnson Social Hall. Concert will still start at 6 p.m. with doors opening at 4 p.m. for those wanting to arrive early for a seat.
