The Recreation Centers of Sun City West has modified the way members may purchase member credit, effective July 1.

The Association previously announced member credit could no longer be purchased at golf courses. However, after hearing from residents, the Association has made a slight shift in policy to continue to allow this convenience.

“After consulting with our software vendor, members will continue to be able to purchase member credit at our golf courses,” said CFO Clif Swann. “The member credit and virtual gift cards purchased at golf courses and on the RCSCW portal can only be redeemed at recreation centers or golf courses.  These purchases will not be subjected to a 3 percent processing fee if they are purchased with a credit card.”

Alternatively, if members want to purchase member credit to be redeemed for annual dues or annual discount golf cards, they can only purchase it at the Membership Services Office at RH Johnson Campus.  If a credit card is used to purchase this type of credit, it will be subject to a 3 percent processing fee.

Payment options in Member Services that are not subject to the 3 percent processing fee are checks, cash and debit cards. Additionally, on the portal, members may pay for dues using ACH/EFT to avoid the surcharge.
