The Recreation Centers of Sun City West advises members the R.H. Johnson Pool will be closed for an extended period beginning Monday, Sept. 28, to complete two different repair projects.
First up will be installation of new tiles on the pool fountain, which kicks off the closure on Sept. 28. That will lead into installation of the new pool decking, beginning Monday, Oct. 5.
The estimated time for this closure is four to six weeks. The Rec Centers thanks community members in advance for their patience during this closure.

So what kind of decking are you going to have installed? Are they just doing a repair work on the old decking or are you changing it all together? (just curious because my opinion is the new decking on our beautiful rh Johnson pool is kind of sad) i’m sure you get a lot of opinions and I do appreciate all you do. However I was just curious to what was happening with the current pool deck.
