R.H. Johnson parking lot closures scheduled for August and September

The Recreation Centers of Sun City West would like to remind the community of upcoming parking lot closures taking place at the R.H. Johnson Recreation Center in August and September.

Sleeving of Electrical Conduit and Irrigation

Aug. 9 – 12

On Wednesday, Aug. 9, section 3 (Social Hall to Sports Pavilion) of the R.H. Johnson parking lot will be closed as numerous trenches will be excavated for electrical conduit and irrigation sleeving. Estimated completion of this project is Saturday, Aug. 12.

Mill and Resurface of RHJ Parking Lot Section 3

Aug. 21 – Sept. 15

Section 3 (Social Hall to Sports Pavilion) of the R.H. Johnson parking lot will be closed from Monday, Aug. 21 through Friday, Sept. 15, for milling and resurfacing of the parking lot.

Seal and Stripe of RHJ Parking Lot Section 2

Sept. 22 – 27

Section 2 (R.H. Johnson Library to ARC Building) of the R.H. Johnson parking lot will be closed for sealing and striping beginning on Friday, Sept. 22. Estimated completion date is Wednesday, Sept. 27. The R.H. Johnson Library will be closed during this project.

Seal and Stripe of Parking Lot Section 1

Oct. 30 – Nov. 2

Section 1 (ARC Building to Tennis Complex) of the R.H. Johnson parking lot will be closed for sealing and striping beginning on Monday, Oct. 30. Estimated completion date is Thursday, Nov. 2.
