The Recreation Centers of Sun City West will be reopening both the outdoor and indoor pools at the Palm Ridge Recreation Center on Monday, Aug. 19.
Both pools have been closed for most of the summer for replacement of the pool decks, along with a wanscot tile replacement project at the indoor pool.
Business hours for both pools is 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Children swim hours for the outdoor pool is 3 to 6 p.m. Both the Beardsley and R.H. Johnson pools will revert back to their normal children swim hours when the outdoor pool at Palm Ridge reopens.
The Rec Centers thank the community for their patience during these recent closures. For more info on current and upcoming capital projects, please visit suncitywest.com/capitalprojects.
Wow – I can’t wait to take a dip there!
Hopefully they cleaned up the water.
The caulking around the tile in the pool is either missing in spots or is pealing! Looks horrible. Decking looks ok although we feel a waste of money. The cement was beautiful. Hopefully it lasts.
If they cut down tree it will stay clean. Yellow flowers and leaves are issue.
