With the summer breeze behind us, it’s time to celebrate cooler evenings with some weekend tunes. This October, Beardsley Park will play host to our Concerts in the Park series, where a new concert will be held every Saturday from Oct. 9 through 23. Check out the scheduled musical acts down below!
Tickets for each show are $5/person and will go on sale Tuesday, Sept. 14, at 8 a.m. Tickets will be available at the RHJ Box Office or online at suncitywest.com.
Each show will begin at 7 p.m. Gates will open at 5 p.m. Concessions will be available.
Our sponsor for Concerts in the Park, Jason Peterson, Edwards Jones financial advisor, will have two gift baskets at each concert to be raffled off. These baskets will have a value of $100 each. Don’t forget to stop and see Jason at each show to get a raffle ticket!

Saturday, Oct.9 – Faded Jeans Band (Sold Out)
Faded Jeans is the energetic, five-piece electric party band for everybody! Since 2008, they’ve been connecting with audiences through their genre-hopping performances, keeping people dancing throughout the show and calling for more at the end of the night. Their song list spans classic rock, rhythm and blue, pop, oldies, country, ’70s funk, rockabilly, and blues, with each song performed true to style.
Faded Jeans has something for everyone. The band is comprised of an incredible mix of musicians from across the country, all with stellar professional experience.

Saturday, Oct.16 – Cheri and The Pacemakers (Sold Out)
Cheri & the Pacemakers is a fun and exciting group of entertainers. They play an upbeat mix of songs from the 1950s through the 1970s focusing on oldies rock, the British invasion, Motown, and country from artists such as The Rolling Stones, Beatles, Temptations, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Aretha Franklin, Linda Ronstadt, Santana, and Garth Brooks. They are danceable and are sure to make everyone have a good time.
The group is composed of the multitalented Cheri Adams on vocals, keyboard and guitar. Dave Albert fuels the mix with sizzling lead electric guitar and vocals. Dan Krohn drives the pulse with his dynamic drumming and vocals, and Larry Hill anchors the bottom with a rock-solid groove on bass guitar.

Saturday, Oct.23 – Rhythm Edition (Sold Out)
Back by popular demand! Rhythm Edition is an eight-piece high energy band that plays music for all ages and all styles.
They provide seven lead singers and each with their own style of vocals, the harmony that they put together is like a gospel choir.
The Rhythm Edition does not just play music, they put on a show with audience participation and choreographed dance moves. The Rhythm Edition brings the party to the party.

How did they sell out?? We were online at 8:04 the band Faded Blue Jeans was not even listed. I called the box office right then and left a message about the problem.
20 min later you post it is sold out… How could this be possible?
I am very upset regarding the Faded Jeans concert ticket sale. I was online at 8am trying to purchase the tickets and it never showed up in my view. I called the box office at 8:30 and I was informed it was online, however, it never did show up. I find it hard to believe that ALL of the tickets were sold out by 8:30 am. I was able to purchase the October 16 and October 23 but not October 9.

Hi everyone. This morning, tickets for our upcoming Concerts in the Park series went on sale at the R.H. Johnson Box Office and online on our ticketing website. While in person ticket sales went smoothly and we were happy to see such a great turnout, we are aware that many residents were having issues purchasing their tickets online, mainly the Faded Jeans show on Oct. 9. Our Events Department is aware of the issue and are currently looking into it. We plan on having an update on the situation available tomorrow in the Enews and our social media pages. As our Events Department continues to research, there is a possibility that more tickets for the Faded Jeans concert become available to purchase on Thursday, Sept. 16 at 8 a.m. online or at the R.H. Johnson Box Office. More details will be available in this week’s Enews and social media.
