When will there an update on when the Beardsley hot tub is going to be open. What’s the big mystery. Be transparent with the owners on why it is closed and when it will be fixed.
Hello Sherri. Thank you for your question. We are working with our vendors to test some new coatings for the deck surface. Once they have that decided, we will announce a closure for the application, and then it will reopen. We understand it’s inconvenient and we appreciate your patience.
Hello again Sherri. We just received notice: The Beardsley pool and spa will be closed beginning this upcoming Monday, Feb. 23, for the deck repairs. Both the pool and spa will reopen at regular hours on Thursday, Feb. 26.
I’d like to know if there are others who find the bowling alley policy of catering to the leagues timeframes, giving practically zero consideration to members just looking for open play times, a problem? It seems that every year our dues escallate yet every time we call over to Johnson lanes, we get the same response. NOTHING AVAILABLE! How about a new policy for day and evening use that keeps at least a few lanes free for resident use and away from leagues? Are we the only ones frustrated? We are forced to bowl early mornings on certain days and weekends or forced to join a league. Our dues support the place yet, unless we conform, we can’t use the facility. It’s not right. I think we need a revolution! When is the next Board meeting?
I could not agree more with this post.
It is extremely frustrating to have a bowling alley that cannot be used by owner members unless they are part of a league. There should be equal opportunity for use of the bowling alley for non-league entertainment.
Bill – I’ve wondered the same thing regarding open bowling times. It seems that you have to commit to a league. I assume there a lot of leagues and I don’t have a solution here, just saying that I, too, am a little disappointed to learn of the limitations for open bowling for residents.
