Del Uvon Bates Bloomquist spent most of her life dedicated to art, and many of her pieces can be found in communities across the country, including San Marcos, the Palisades and New York. However, now in her 90’s, Bloomquist has found it increasingly challenging to continue her devotion to sculpting. Shifting from one art form to another, she’s on a new adventure – setting off to fulfill her late-discovered dream to become an author. As an avid reader herself, Bloomquist has always been fascinated by romantic crime and mystery novels, so she decided to write a book herself. She recently published the first of what she hopes to be a series of novels, “The Agency – One.”

The Agency- One
A story of sisters Elaine and Lou Richard’s; twins bonded not only through family, but a career of secrecy and deception – working as agents for The Agency. Despite a desperate attempt to temporarily break away from their busy lives, they ultimately find themselves embarking on a mission in which they’ve never faced before. Follow the Richards, as they pursue a psychotic serial killer along the beaches of California and the mountains of Washington State. If this wasn’t enough, they’re also in a race against time to find a missing college student, and a fellow agent gone rogue. A riveting thriller – filled with suspense, mystery and romance.
