Nationally recognized Abraham Lincoln presenter and historian, John Voehl, will return to Sun City West for a Friends of the Library Speaker Series presentation at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, in Summit Hall A of the Palm Ridge Recreation Center (13800 W. Deer Valley Drive). Doors will open at 1:30 p.m. Seating is first come, first serve.
It is a free event to rec card holders, but registration is required. Register online through the library catalog at suncitywest.librarycalendar.com. Your registration online reserves a seat until the start of the event. Please note entry after the start time will be subject to seat availability. The title of the presentation is Lincoln on New Year’s Day. Lincoln reviews the events he experienced on New Years Day throughout his life. It’s a chronological review of his Jan. 1 experiences.
