Friends of the Library Lecture

Nationally recognized Abraham Lincoln presenter and historian, John Voehl, will be returning to Sun City West for another lecture titled Lincoln & African Americans Through MLK Jr.

Location: Summit Hall A of the Palm Ridge Recreation Center
This is a free event; tickets are required and can be picked up in the library checkout counter.

This presentation will have historian John Voehl speaking as President Lincoln on the topic Lincoln & African Americans through MLK Jr . Lincoln shares the evolving history of his involvement with slavery and emancipation. Then John continues the saga into the 20th century and MLK Jr.

This is a two part event and in February John will be returning with his wife as Lincoln and Mary on February 26. Look for more information on the February presentation on the library’s website closer to the event.
