SCW Clubs SHOULD NOT be opened to outsiders!!!!!
We endured the upheaval and expense of moving to be able to have access to the clubs and social amenities. We paid the $3,500 improvement levy, paid the Rec fees and paid to join a few clubs so far. Will outsiders be paying a premium to join our clubs, to travel on our roads and use our buildings?
It sounds like only a few charter clubs are not in compliance. The needs of the many vs the needs of the one. These clubs need to be sent a certified letter to be in compliance within X number of days or their charter be revoked, their access to any rooms in SCW buildings curtailed until compliant. If the club does have a dedicated room, the letter should be posted on the door in plain view to all.
This letter also needs to be published in the SCW Rec News so all the non-compliant club members are aware of the situation and no one can say they didn’t know. It is the responsibility of all the clubs members to be aware and vote in officers who will follow SCW rules for clubs!
Great remarks!

Plenty of workout clubs and

Susie Swedowski is spot on with her comments. I am very happy for all those people living SCW that have lots of friends living in the surrounding communities and that they enjoy common interests. With that said, when these clubs bring in outside persons to take advantage of the amenities of SCW on the backs of resident rec center cards, it makes availability issues for residents a problem when the allotted spots are filled with outside persons. If those bringing in guests on a regular basis feel so strong about their right to bring friends, maybe they would be willing to pay an annual quest user fee as well a make them join the club and pay a annual double membership fee. Just my.02.
Drop the fees for the people who had to pay the 3,500 and pay the dues. This is not a come one come all. Didn’t sign up for that.
