Halloween VR
The R.H. Johnson Library is celebrating Halloween with Virtual Reality! If you’re brave enough, come try to find your way out of a virtual haunted house or ride your choice of haunted roller coasters surrounded by ghosts, goblins and spooky graveyards, if you dare!
These virtual reality experiences will only be available for two days! Sessions are on Tuesday, Oct. 29 and Thursday, Oct. 31 at 9:30 a.m. noon and 2 p.m. Pre-registration is required. Minimum age to participate is 10 years old. Call 623-544-6644 or visit the Data Resource Center for reservations.
Murder Mystery
Can you solve the crime? Be a cold case detective and solve a murder mystery in the library! All through the month of October, the library will have cold cases for residents and their guests to solve. Residents and their guests 14+ years or older can sign up for a time slot in the library to come in and choose a case to solve. All cases involve a lot of reading; some of which can be small or hard to read. One person in your group must have a smartphone or tablet to get past each step of the case as you’ll need to visit an online answer page that requires you to prove you’ve cracked the case. Sign up your group of 1 to 5 people in the Data Resource Center or by calling 623-544-6644.
