The Recreation Centers of Sun City West Governing Board has scheduled a Special Meeting at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, in the Lecture Hall to appoint a new director.
The meeting is open to the community and will be available for remote participation on the Association’s YouTube channel. The Board will discuss the process for filling this vacancy, which was created when former Director Dennis Horvath resigned earlier in July, and will then vote on the appointment.
The new director will serve until June 30, 2026. The final year on Horvath’s term will be filled by a director elected by Owner Members during the March 2026 regular Governing Board Election.
