What is the Current Status of the Pin Setter Replacement plan and schedule at the Sports Pavillion/Johnson Lanes?
We keep hearing bits and pieces from some employees or other bowlers. We KNOW that multiple meetings have been held discussing this MAJOR Event at the Sports Pavillion. Yet, not one single published email update or special Rec Center News item has been released. We have been verbally informed the Summer Leagues are already being delayed or possibly cancelled due to delays in the Pin Setter replacements.
Please talk to us Rec Center Members!
Hi Brad. The installation of new pinsetters is set to begin on Monday, April 27 and expected to last until early July. We recently published a press release with additional details here: https://suncitywest.com/johnson-lanes-to-install-new-masking-pinsetters-closure-set-for-end-of-april/amenities/sports-pavilion-posts/
Hi,
First of all I want to thank you for the wonderful job you do maintaining all the rec centers in our community. I am a frequent (3 – 5 times per week) user during the months of November through middle of May. I have been a ‘gym rat’ all my adult life and experienced numerous gym and fitness facilities. Some were much better than others but I feel the standard you have set here is absolutely the est I have every experienced.
All that said, I have a comment on something I’ve experienced that I think could be improved. that is the practice of letting a single individual reserve the entire group exercise room at R H Johnson for up to an hour at a time. Please don’t misunderstand – I think reserving the room for a group (3 or more) is a totally legitimate practice and I completely support it. But I don’t support one person reserving the entire room for just themselves for an hour during prime time (8 – 5). If they want the room for an hour, then it should be shared. I’ve never seen one person using the entire room for an hour and I’ve been in there many times. I’m certainly open to diverging opinions and would like to hear them.
Thank you for the opportunity to provide input.
