Ticket Sales – Series Packages for Sizzling Summer Series
Jazz, rock, country – get a wide sampling of music styles at this year’s Sizzling Summer Series inside the air conditioned Palm Ridge Rec Center.
Performances are scheduled for June 3, 17 and July 1, all of which fall on Wednesday. All shows begin at 5 p.m. with doors opening at 4:30 p.m.

Tickets are $24 for the series and $10 for individual shows, six tickets per rec card. Cabaret-style table seating. Series packages are available from 8 a.m. April 21 through 7:59 a.m. May 5. Individual show tickets are available beginning at 8 a.m. May 5.
Water, soda, ice cream and popcorn will be available for purchase until the show starts.

Nuance Jazz Trio featuring Bridget Maynes

The Nuance Jazz Trio, launched more thant 30 years ago to become an esteemed jazz-swing ensemble. Nuance’s repertoire includes old and new jazz influences including Great American Songbook encompassing Django Reinhardt (hot jazz), mainstream jazz standards, Bossa Novas and other Latin favorites, as well Americana and even some pop. Instrumentation includes trumpet (violin double), guitar and bass. Voted “Best Jazz Performers” by the Arizona Republic.
Bridget Maynes was born and raised in Phoenix and comes from an extensive musical background. She has performed in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area as well as venues throughout California and Nevada. Her singing style is creative and passionate. Maynes’s musical approach is influenced by vocalists Ella Fitzgerald, Nancy Wilson and Anita O’Day. Bridget is the founder of the award winning “MayneSwing Vocal Trio,” which won the “Best Vocal Group” award for three consecutive years by “Jazz in Arizona.”
Aragon Ping Band

Playing a range of music from country to classic rock, The Aragon Ping Band covers your favorites. The Aragon Ping Band is comprised of four exceptionally talented musicians, who individually have a stellar bio. Collectively, Robert Aragon on lead vocals; Doug Ping on Telecaster guitar and vocals; Scott Smith on guitar, keyboard and vocals; and Layne London on bass guitar and vocals form the all-star Aragon Ping Band.
