President of the Ikebana International Sun Cities Chapter
Sue Schmidt, will be demonstrating several Ikebana arrangements, answering questions about the art of Ikebana, and surprising someone in the audience with flowers. Ikebana or living flowers is the ancient Japanese art of flower arranging. The tradition dates back to the 7th century when floral offerings were made at altars.
