DJ John at the Pool
The Rec Centers is ready to groove at the pool with a free DJ’d event from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, at the R.H. Johnson Pool.
Sun City West residents are invited to attend, relax in pool and enjoy the cool tunes as DJ John pours through his stacks of wax and spins the hits from the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s. DJ John will MC the event and play requests from his vast collection of vinyl records. The DJ booth will be located outside the storage area on the right side of the pool deck.
Breast Cancer Awareness Event
During this event, the Recreation Centers of Sun City West will be providing free awareness pins and bracelets for Breast Cancer Awareness month. If you are unable to join us for this event, you may also pick up a pin and bracelet at Member Services beginning Wednesday, Oct. 1, or at our Music on the Green event on Oct. 8 and Kick Off to Fall Concert on Oct. 10.
