Unexpected Adventures
Genevieve took advantage of the world slowing down during the pandemic to engage in a variety of creative hobbies only to find herself itching to write her tales and share them with the world. The art of writing, inspired by a few of her close friends, opened the door to the creation of her first collection of shocking, exciting, surprising and at times terrifying moments she experienced during her travels around the world.
From Easter Island encounters with the Moais, being wounded in Israel, experiencing terror in Beijing at midnight to the challenge of leaving Ethiopia and Italy during the Covid outbreak are just a few of the many short stories that Genevieve introduces to her not so normal world of travel. Her fearless spirit has allowed her to venture to places few dare to venture simply because she is able to become one with the people she finds. She has learned, through the years, to weather travel mishaps ranging from inconvenient to harrowing situations almost always, finding the humor there.
