Banner Alzheimer’s Institute and the R.H. Johnson Library will present a community lecture on dementia at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, in Palm Ridge Summit Hall A.
Heather Mulder from the Banner Alzheimer’s Institute will discuss “Defining Dementia: Progression, Treatment and Strategies.”
Mulder will review the basics of dementia, from the various types to progression and available treatments. Participants will learn important strategies to avoid many of the unwanted behaviors that arise due to the demands of the illness.
