I am really excited that you have met with an architect to discuss YOUR vision for the future of the Dog Parks!
I have only used MY Dog Parks for over twenty years and I am not sure at all that MY vision for the future of MY Dog Park that I submitted several months ago escaped Cindy’s File 13? Who is driving OUR train?
Not sure who you are talking to at the Clubs but the Sunshine Club President said he had met once about the Park, made a couple of suggestions which were promptly rejected and claims to have no idea what Staff and the artchitect have in mind? None of the membership knows what is going on so I guess Cindy and Mike are planning something to suit themselves without meaningful input from regular users!
The officers of the Sunshine Animal Club told me that they are totally a Social Group, have no desire to get into regulation of the park, have no authority to do so, and furthermore will not contribute a nickel to whatever is done. With such animosity to the planning process from the Club Officers it is no wonder that users do not know what is going on and that they on and feel they have no meaningful input to “our Dog Park”!
Mr. Gibson. As we told you at the Properties Committee meeting, the officers of the Sunshine Animal Club and the Canine Companions Club met with the architect and staff to go over the proposed drawings. They liked what they saw. We will have one more meeting with them, and if we are all still in agreement, we will move forward with our plans. Those plans will provide a larger space for the small dog park, more green space and a larger run for our larger dogs. This answer which you received in the Properties Committee has not changed. We are asking you to please refrain from sarcastic, attacking comments. We will not publish any more such comments from you on this blog. As always, civil, respectful questions will be published and answered.
The several pages of suggestions I made months ago were respectfully and thoughtfully submitted and you have ignored them, giving not so much as a yes or no answer! You seem to be very selective in choosing who you will entertain input from! That is how the Tennis Project went south, or do you remember? And you have the audacity to demand only non-critical comments? Really!
Hi Dudley. Please let us know what questions we did not answer. Although we can’t always give folks the answers they would like to hear, we strive to answer every question that comes our way. We don’t mind critical comments either, but they must be civil. This website not only serves as a way to communicate with our members, it is a marketing tool for our community. It is designed for quick two-way communication so residents can get their questions answered and provide input. It is not designed for long, drawn out commentary. Board meetings and one-on-one meetings are better designed for that. You are always welcome to call up any manager or the GM and set up an appointment. We have met with you several times and will continue to do so. Thank you.
And to whom am I talking. Sign your posts, I do!

I have re-submitted my suggestions for the Dog Parks, thanks!
