Are you a crafter who needs to reduce your stash of craft supplies? Do you have an unfinished project that doesn’t interest you anymore? Or are you looking to start a new hobby but don’t want to invest a ton of money? Come to the R.H. Johnson Library’s first ever Craft Supply Swap on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Craft Swap will be held in the Friends of the Library Board Room. Bring items to donate or select from the donated items. Don’t have anything to donate? That’s okay, you can still visit the swap and find new-to-you supplies! This is an excellent way for anyone thinking about trying a new craft or hobby to get started.
Examples of accepted craft supplies include yarn, stickers, buttons, fabric, brushes, knitting needles, crochet hooks, pens, markers, stamps, beads, scrapbooking materials, unused craft kits, and coloring books.
Guidelines for craft supply swap:
- Any small supplies must be brought in a container or resealable bag.
- Items should be in good condition, clean and usable.
- Please do not bring open containers of glue, paint, solvent, etc.
- Any unclaimed items will be used in our library programs or donated elsewhere.
What a wonderful idea. Great way to declutter. Thank you for having this.
Will you take unused or lightly used Rubber Stamps?
