Planned Cox outage
Members: We have just been notified by Cox Communications that they are planning a complete outage that will affect a large part of Sun City West on Friday, Sept. 27. According to the Cox representative, all Cox residential services (including internet, phones and security) will be out from about 5 a.m. to noon on that Friday in the majority of the eastern and northern part of the community. The project will allow techs to upgrade the Cox hardware to provide faster internet speeds.
Cox states they will be emailing their customers directly as well. The Rec Centers is not involved in this project and has no jurisdiction. We are notifying residents as a community service. Please contact Cox if you have questions.
Your wording can be misleading. Even though you say the outage will take place on 9-27 (which is a week from tomorrow), in the same sentence you say “this Friday” which makes it sound like it is going to happen tomorrow m

Can you give a better explanation of the area affected please? Perhaps name the streets that border the area, thank you’ East – East of what? RH Johnson?
