You can help make a child’s holiday brighter by participating in Sun City West’s “Toys for Kids” drive! All residents are invited to join in by contributing a new, unwrapped toy for a child in our local area this holiday season.

You can drop off your gift between the hours of 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the Women’s/Boomers Clubs located at the Kuentz Recreation Center, 14401 R.H. Johnson Blvd. Gifts for the toy drive will be accepted from now until Saturday, Nov. 30. Gifts for children ages newborn to 12 years are greatly appreciated.

Residents are also welcome to join the Rec Centers and participating clubs from 9 to 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 2 in the Women’s/Boomers Club Room for punch, coffee and cookies. You will also get to see Santa and the kindergarten children from the Nadaburg School District in Wittman.

Toys from this drive will go to El Mirage Family Health Center, Dysart Community Center, Army Veterans Group and Nadaburg School District Kindergarten children.

This event is sponsored by the Recreation Centers of Sun City West and hosted by the Women’s and Boomers Clubs. All clubs are invited to participate in this holiday event.
