Do you any idea when guests can go to the outdoor pools. I am only asking because my daughter and 3 year old grand daughter will be visiting end of June.
What happened to the 14 day decline in coronavirus cases? There has been no decline, cases are going up! Is the Rec. Center going to reverse it’s decision and demand another closure?
Is the indoor walking track open? If not when is the estimated date?
Add a line in the schedules for showers and locker room status and opening date.
I just heard the Rec Ctrs are requiring masks to be worn by all starting June 13. Who came up with this stupid mandate??? You are treating us like 2 year olds. I can just see people swimming with masks on. This is a ridiculous mandate. We’ve already lost 3 months of using the centers. Now, when we’re finally starting to open up, you pull this. Our freedom to choose what’s good for ourselves is apparently gone.
Why are people so self centered and selfish ! That’s why there is over 400,000 deaths in the US and leading the world
Wearing a mask in public places is a very small price to pay to keep safe
Most of us have been quite patient. We have been locked out of our clubs, facilities, etc. since March 13. You were kind enough to delay rec fee payments for some members until July 15. (I believe that’s the date. In any case you delayed payments.) Just a reminder that those same people still may not have access by that date.
Now we find out that “some” clubs are being allowed to meet, and that a club or clubs might be being renovated at great expense (hundreds of thousands of dollars). And still you’re charging us 100% of our rec center fees for what? Nothing… It’s time for rec centers to refund a portion of our fees based upon the percentage of time our facilities have been and will be closed, as well as how long our clubs are being denied access. You can tell us you still have had maintenance requirements and salaries to pay. However, that doesn’t wash. You received a grant for employee salaries and just exactly what maintenance was required considering nothing was being used?
You might consider prorating the rec center fees for everyone for the three months that ALL facilities were closed effective from March 13, 2020 through March 13, 2021. That does not take into consideration the facilities that remain closed with no projected reopening date. We are being denied access no matter the reasons. The rest of the world is opening up.
Regarding a pro rated rate for facilities closed due to covid 19, does it then follow that snow birds who are absent for six months of the year are also eligible for 50% association fees!
