Do you enjoy acting and want to improve your craft?
As part of a summer theatre education program, the Stardust Theatre will be hosting a multi-day class on character development with script analysis on Thursdays during the month of May from 10 a.m. to noon.
These classes are free to all residents of Sun City West and will be held in the Back 40, the backstage area of Stardust Theatre, on May 8, 15, 22 and 29.
The class, taught by SCW resident and RCSCW Production Coordinator, Tia Wooley, will involve learning how to develop a character featured in a script for acting and will also provide insight and perspective for new playwright’s and authors. This class will include instruction, insight, practical work, independent work and possibly homework. Discussion to questions relating to character development and learning how to find the information you need to create a real character for your audience will be part of these classes.
Deadline to sign up for these free classes is Wednesday, April 30. Please email tia.wooley@suncitywest.com to sign up.
