The R. H. Johnson Library has heard residents asking for more time with items checked out, so we are making a few changes to checkout times.
Starting Wednesday, February 1st the library will have new checkout limits and times on certain items.
Book Checkout Periods & Limits
- New Books*: 2-week checkout
- Older Books: 3-week checkout
New books are limited to 4 copies out at one time regular books can have 20 out at a time limit.
Books on CD Checkout Periods & Limits
- New Books on CD*: 2-week checkout
- Older Books on CD: 4-week checkout
6 books on CD can be checked out at one time.
Puzzles & Games Checkout Periods & Limits
- Puzzles: 3-week checkout
- Games: 3-week checkout
5 puzzles can be checked out at a time.
5 games can be checked out at a time.
*New books and books on CD have a white and black number sticker on the spine. They are books/books on CD that are less than 6 months old*
Items can be renewed twice if no holds have been placed on them. To renew go online to catalog.scwlibrary.com and sign into your account or call the library to have staff renew your item.
